Newark May Get Another 7-Eleven Store: Report

A plan has been submitted to Newark officials for the construction of a 7-11 convenience store in the North Ward, Jersey Digs magazine reported Friday.

Syed Family LLC is seeking variances in order to build the store in the 800 block of Franklin Avenue near the Branch Brook Park light rail station. The site is now home to a gas station and a mechanic.
